Bridgerton Season 4 Launch

The Ton Takes Cape Town for Bridgerton Season 4 Launch

On Saturday, 24 January, Bridgerton Season 4 was unveiled in Cape Town with a launch that brought the series’ central theme - the unmasking of true love - vividly to life. Inspired by the romance, intrigue, and spectacle of the upcoming season, the celebration took shape as an elegant Afro-couture Masquerade, where the opulence of the Regency era met the bold innovation of African design. Hosted at the V&A Waterfront’s iconic Zeitz MOCAA, the evening provided a fitting backdrop for one of the most anticipated social events of the season.

The evening was expertly guided by two of South Africa’s most beloved personalities, Bonang Matheba and Jonathan Boyton-Lee, who hosted the festivities with their signature flair. While the red carpet was a galaxy of local stars with the country's most elite talent, such as Zozibini Tunzi, Khanyi Mbau, Dineo Langa, Ntobeko Sishi, and the Mbombo Twins to name a few. A major highlight of the evening was the celebration of the expanding Bridgerton universe, marked by the presence of international cast members and fan-favourites Emma Naomi (Alice Mondrich) and Martins Imhangbe (Will Mondrich). Joining them in the spotlight was South

Africa’s own Masali Baduza (Michaela Stirling), who makes her historic debut this season as the first South African actor to join the franchise. Together, the trio ushered in a new chapter of the hit series that bridges local pride with global storytelling.

Catch Part 1 of Bridgerton season 4 premiering exclusively on Netflix on 29 January.
