FoyinOg x NetflixSA: #7Days7Faces Challenge

It's safe to say that the Coronavirus pandemic stopped everyone on their tracks this past year and everyone found themselves locked up in the comfort of their homes as we all tried to adhere and get used to lockdown rules and regulations and what is now our new normal – face masks, sanitizers and the hardest of them all, social distancing.

We all found ourselves glued more and more to our screens, trying to keep up with our loved ones, and everything else going on around the world. So social media was literally the only place to be. Luckily for us, we had influencers and content creators to keep us company and well entertained. The lockdown suddenly became a breeding ground for challenges of all kinds on social media this past year. From cooking challenges on Instagram to dance challenges on TikTok. I think it's safe to say that these hashtag challenges really kept us going through what now feels like a lifetime of being cooped up indoors.

Our favorite Nigerian beauty and lifestyle content creator Foyin Og who graces the cover of The Throne Mags Dec/Jan Influencer Class Of 2020 issue recently partnered with NetflixSA and had us all highly anticipated for her popular #7days7faces challenge which she also started at the beginning of the lockdown to, like the rest of us who liked, commented and shared her looks, keep her mind off the fact that we are currently living during a pandemic

Of course, being a passionate makeup artist, we expected nothing less than amazing makeup looks from the very talented Foyin, and as you can imagine, she was not about to disappoint!

We followed the #7days7faces challenge on social media to take in all the creativity, and we were mind-blown and thoroughly impressed with the submissions from the #FoyHive, that we just had to share our top favorite participants. It needs to be said that South Africa has some great talent.
